Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Through the implementation of CBT principles, I've found that tailoring treatment plans to each client's unique needs and circumstances is paramount. By collaboratively setting specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound goals, clients have been able to track their progress more effectively and stay motivated throughout the therapeutic process.

Strength-Based

Strengths-based treatment is a therapeutic approach that focuses on identifying the inherent strengths and resources of individuals rather than solely concentrating on deficits. It emphasizes collaboration between me and the client to build on existing strengths and promote empowerment.

Trauma Informed Care

This approach has fundamentally transformed the way I interact with and provide therapy to clients who have experienced various forms of trauma. Embracing trauma-informed care required me to significantly shift my perspective. Instead of asking "What's wrong with you?" my focus shifted to "What happened to you?" This change in mindset enabled me to approach clients with empathy, compassion, and a deeper understanding of their experiences.
