Hello. I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Pennsylvania. I received my master's degree in Community Counseling from the University of Scranton. I believe that therapy is a partnership between the therapist and the individual. I enjoy and value the ability to be part of someone's personal growth and healing. It is an honor that I hold in the highest degree.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first session, we will participate in brief introductions. We will talk about what you are hoping to accomplish during treatment and what issues are impacting you the most. The goal is to get to know each other and to design a treatment plan, led by you, to identify how you will recognize progress, maintain safety, and identify personal goals you want to achieve during our time together.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I feel that my greatest strength as a clinician is that I truly believe in the resilience and value of each individual. It is my job to help you be able to see that within yourself. I partner with you to be able to assist you in healing and achieving your goals. I believe in being genuine and supportive.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I enjoy working with individuals that are motivated to identify and make changes to be able to recognize their value in the world and live the most fulfilling life possible.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I partner with the individual to help identify the connections between the thoughts & feelings and how these influence actions.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I work to assist individuals by helping you to learn skills to feel more in control of your thoughts and reactions to life events.

Family Therapy

The family, either biological and chosen, is a huge part of an individual's wellness. I work to assist the individual to build a familial support system that is healthy and supportive of the person's individual growth.

Grief Therapy

Grief therapy is a process of not necessarily "getting over" a loss but learning to heal and be able to learn how to function with the loss.

Trauma-Focused CBT

I try to help the individual to be able to identify the impact that the trauma has on ability to function in present time and to be able to learn skills to cope with how the trauma impacts day to day function.
