I am a therapist who enjoys helping children navigate anxiety, anger, grief and loss, separation/divorce of parents and other adjustment related life challenges. I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Georgia State University and my Master of Social Work Degree from The University of Georgia. With 18+ years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, families, and groups, I view therapy as my calling.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our first session will consist of an interview with the parent followed by an introduction with the child. We will dive into the specific challenges you're facing and discuss your desired therapy goals.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I utilize a mixture of evidence based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Bibliotherapy, Expressive Arts, and Psychoeducation to help clients achieve their desired goals. Child & Adolescent clients will receive a virtual therapy kit for use during sessions. The kit includes a journal and worksheets that will aid in the therapeutic process.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have a passion for helping individuals navigate, anxiety, anger, grief and loss, and other adjustment related life challenges.
