One of the greatest attributes I can offer in this alliance is empathy. Non-judgmental exploration will afford the understanding necessary to determine what is hindering satisfaction. I am Kimberly Jones: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have over 10 years of experience in offering psychotherapy to all ages. My expertise is couple’s therapy encompassing marriage and relationships. You will be provided a safe space to bring your most complex matters as I am confident in supporting honest dialogue. In addition, mediation during difficult discussions and understanding the anatomy of an affair's impact on both partners can also be provided. I would assist in managing the threat of divorce, post-separation, and co-parenting. In the healing pursuit, individuals will experience neutrality, intimacy repair, trust building, improved communication, and conflict resolution. These are all skills necessary to strengthen the relationship and introduce a new way of seeing life together.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I offer a personalized treatment plan and interventions that will uniquely address your challenges. Assessments will be used to expedite success, the greater education you provide me the more equiped I am to work with you. You can expect a collaborative approach in implementing the most relevant exercises and interventions. Homework is a key component used to promote and expedite positive change. Treatment approach will be tailored to your needs, using modalities that are aligned with your goal success.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

If you are experiencing depression, be assured that your symptoms do not define you. We will focus on eliminating your distress, strengthening your ability to regulate your thoughts, feelings and behaviors by using Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT). Anxiety can be experienced for various reasons; however, mindfulness approach can definitely help you remain grounded and learn how to center yourself when feeling overwhelmed.
