Hello, I am Rutanya, I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker from Tulsa, Oklahoma. I received my Master's in Social Work from University of Oklahoma in 2014 and have been practicing since then. I have worked within the court systems with severe mental health and addiction. Over the past seven years I have worked with families to help with effective communication and setting healthy boundaries.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
We will begin our first session by brief introductions and then I will allow you to tell me what is going on and what you are hoping to achieve through our sessions. We will explore barriers to achieving your goals and work to come up with a treatment plan to meet the stated goals.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
My greatest strength is building rapport and creating a safe environment. I am a attentive listener and ask questions which will provoke thoughts that will help clients identify their needs and come up with creative ways to implement life changes.
