I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor LPCC based in KY. I received my master's at Lindsey Wilson College of Professional Counseling. I have been in practice for 6 years. Life can be hard at times. We have challenges and experiences that seem impossible to deal with or get through. I want to help you navigate and make it through these difficult times. It is truly rewarding to see my clients grow and learn to love themselves. I am very passionate about what I do and one of my best qualities as a therapist is providing encouragement and listening because having a strong therapeutic relationship is vital for healing to even begin.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

At your first session we will spend time getting to know each other and talk about what it is that brought you therapy.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is providing encouragement and acknowledging your strengths. Most of us do not come to therapy with confidence and self love. I have had many challenges, loss, and struggles in my life and I feel that this is also one of my greatest strength’s because I have overcome and made it through tough times.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is a modality allows the client to be aware of negative thought patterns that affect the way they feel and react to certain situations. CBT gives the client the ability to challenge negative thoughts so that they can think clearly and respond to situations in a more productive way. I use this technique and it works very well with my clients.

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing is an evidence-based practice that uses bilateral stimulation to process past trauma, anxiety, phobias, behavioral problems, addiction, and many other mental health issues. I use this technique with my clients especially when they have trauma, but it works great with every population.

Motivational Interviewing

Motivational Interviewing is a modality that is used to help people find motivation to make positive changes in their life. I incorporate this into all my sessions. I love providing encouragement and building confidence in my clients.

Integrative

Integrative Therapy is a combination of different therapy modalities that allows therapist to provide the best approach for each individual.
