My approach to therapy emerged out of my passion for health and my connection to nature. While I combine several modalities in my practice, empathy and authenticity are at the heart of my work. I strive to cultivate a safe and inclusive space for my clients. I am committed to ongoing education and self-reflection to better understand the unique experiences and perspectives of diverse populations. I also prioritize collaboration and advocacy with my clients to address and dismantle systemic barriers that impact their mental health and well-being.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I believe that therapy presents the opportunity for you to develop a deeper language with yourself. I work with your physical body and nature in mind, encouraging you to slow down your habitual process and discover how you truly want to respond to yourself and to those around you. No matter what you are struggling with or why, therapy always moves at your own unique pace.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

By integrating mindfulness, present body awareness, self-reflection, EMDR, and nature into my practice, I work with clients to develop tools and strategies to navigate their internal and external worlds with greater ease and resilience. Ultimately, my goal is to support individuals in creating lives that feel more connected, fulfilling, and aligned with their values and aspirations.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

More specifically, I rely on the organic unfolding of each therapeutic session which involves mindfulness practices as tools for emotional regulation. As an adapted Eastern practice, mindfulness involves cultivating a non-judgmental awareness of one's thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations, and the present moment. The goal is to develop an accepting and compassionate attitude toward oneself and one's experiences. Mindfulness therapy can be used to manage stress, anxiety, depression, and various other mental health conditions. It encourages one to observe their thoughts and emotions without getting caught up in them, thus fostering a greater sense of self-awareness and emotional stability.
