Hello! I am Angela Tirpak a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Pennsylvania and Certified Treatment Anxiety Profession (CTAP). Does life feel overwhelming at times? You are not quite sure why you are feeling so many challenges and not sure how to deal with them. Life can do this to all of us. Together we can identify what the challenges are and get you to a more balanced life. I have experience working with adults and adolescents dealing with mood disorders, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, ADHD, life changes and other challenges. I have over 25 years' experience helping clients in a variety of settings including outpatient clinics, schools and hospitals. I work with clients to help them discover their true self. I will meet you where you are in your journey and will help facilitate the changes to help you be happier and the best version of yourself.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we will briefly get to know each other, share some background information, and then I'll give you time to share what has brought you to therapy. Together we will process what issues and barriers are causing you to feel like you aren't being successful, then create goals and build on your strengths to move towards your vision for your future.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I specialize in treating the anxiety and depression that comes with life transitions. These may include school, career, relationship, gender, or loss of a loved one but they make be due to something else. What you can expect from me is someone who will listen to you without judgement and help you gain new insight and coping strategies. I am also highly driven and motivated to continue learning and growing my clinical experience to better serve the clients that I work with.
