Hello there! I'm Stephanie, as a dedicated bilingual therapist, I've made it my life's work to help individuals of all ages navigate the challenging journey through anxiety and depression. 💛 Your Mental Well-being Matters 💛 Life can throw all sorts of curveballs our way, and it's perfectly normal to feel overwhelmed at times. I'm here to be your anchor in those stormy seas. With a compassionate heart and years of experience, I provide a safe and supportive space for you to express your feelings, fears, and dreams. 💬 Let's Start the Conversation 💬 No matter where you are on your mental health journey, remember that you don't have to walk it alone. Reach out, and let's begin a conversation about how we can work together to bring light into your life once more.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

At our first session you can expect a safe environment were you can share your presenting issues or challenges in more depth. Overall, my goal is to create a supportive environment where you feel heard, understood, and hopeful about the changes you would like to make in your life. If you are able to attend sessions regularly and actively use coping skills outside of session you can expect to see positive changes in your life.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

One of my biggest strengths is to help clients find healthy ways to cope with their stressors. I start where the client is and have many years of experience working with various populations. I have received additional training and I am very passionate about helping adults and teenagers struggling with anxiety, OCD, depression, relationship conflict, and grief.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a therapeutic approach for treating a variety of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, phobias and other stress disorders. I help my patients understand that their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are interconnected, and that changing negative patterns of thinking and behavior can lead to improvements in emotional well-being. I help my patient identify negative patterns, learn coping skills, set peronsal goals, and monitor patterns of thinking.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Mindfulness-Based Therapy teaches individuals to cultivate present-moment awareness by paying attention to their thoughts, emotions, bodily sensations, and the surrounding environment without judgment. This involves practicing mindfulness meditation techniques, such as focused breathing, body scan, and mindful movement, to anchor attention to the present moment. Through regular practice and commitment, my patients can cultivate a deeper sense of peace, balance, and fulfillment in their lives.
