What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

After your first session, it's normal to feel a range of emotions, including relief, confusion, or even discomfort. In subsequent sessions, I will use different evidence-based interventions and techniques to help you work through your challenges and achieve your goals. Depending on your specific needs this may include talk therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness practices, or other forms of psychotherapy. These are some common things that clients can expect to gain from therapy: greater self-awareness, improved coping skills, better relationships, reduced symptoms, and increased self-esteem. It's important to remember therapy is a collaborative process, and the benefits that derive from therapy will depend on the level of engagement and commitment.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

There are several treatment methods and tools that I may utilize to help my clients. Some of the most common ones are Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness based therapies, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Trauma focused therapies. These are just a few of the many treatment tools and techniques that I utilize to help clients. The specific approach used will depend on the client's needs and goals.

My primary strength is my ability to connect with people. I believe that building a strong therapeutic relationship is essential to achieving positive outcomes in therapy. Whether working with children, adolescents, or adults, I am committed to understanding each client's unique needs and tailoring my approach to meet those needs. I understand that therapy can be a challenging and vulnerable experience, and I strive to create a supportive and non-judgmental space where you feel heard and understood. I believe that empathy and compassion are essential components of effective therapy and I work to cultivate those qualities in my work with clients.
