I believe counseling is a holistic effort between the therapist and the people seeking services. I believe each person deserves respect and guidance on their individual journey. I know taking that first step towards change is typically the hardest step of all, but you are here doing the hard things! I am a licensed professional counselor in the State of Ohio (E.2102685). I received my Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wright State University in 2019.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our first session will always be your general intake. It will feel like 20 questions because I need to learn as much about you and your concerns as possible. Clients can expect all other session to include take aways that will help them the most on their healing journey. For some people, that is homework. For others, journaling or thought experiments. For some, just knowing they can receive thoughtful, competent feedback or challenging to harmful thought patterns is most important. Let's discover together what you need!

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I feel my greatest strength as a therapist is my lived experience with depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, and Borderline Personality Disorder. I can empathize with my client's lived experience from a unique perspective versus trying to imagine what you've lived through.
