Hi! I am a licensed Psychotherapist in the states of New Jersey and New York and have been providing psychotherapy services for 25+ years. I am also a certified Clinical Telemental Health Provider and certified Integrative Mental Health Professional. I draw from different theoretical frameworks, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Trauma Informed Therapy, Humanistic Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Positive Psychology, Psychodynamic Therapy, Developmental Psychology, Narrative Therapy, and Interpersonal Psychotherapy. This allows me to help clients with a variety of issues, including Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Low Self-Esteem, Stress, Burnout, ADHD, Grief, Women’s Issues, Relationship Difficulties, General Life Transition Challenges, and Career Challenges.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, you can expect a warm and welcoming experience. I strive to create a compassionate, safe, and non-judgmental space. I will conduct an initial assessment to gain a better understanding of your background, history, and current challenges, including any relevant personal, family, and medical history. I will also get clarity about the goals you have for therapy to subsequently formulate an individualized treatment plan.

As a Psychotherapist, my greatest strengths lie in my ability to actively listen, empathize, and build strong therapeutic relationships with my clients. I believe that the foundation of effective therapy is a deep understanding of my clients' experiences, emotions, and perspectives.

Use mindfulness and meditative techniques to help clients bring awareness to the present moment and to what is being felt and sensed and use techniques to help relax the body and mind to reduce stress level.

Guide clients to reflect on their true nature and help clients decide what choices need to be made and actions taken to create a fulfilling life that is aligned with what is most authentic to them.
