Hi! I am a licensed clinical social worker based in Pennsylvania. I received my masters degree from the University of Pennsylvania and have 9+ years experience providing inclusive care for children, teens, and young adults in school, university, and community based mental health settings. I provide a supportive space for clients to explore their challenges and utilize evidence-based approaches tailored to best meet their needs.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Thank you for taking this important step! In our first introductory session, I will focus on getting to know you and/or your child. I will ask questions to learn and better understand you or your child's unique strengths and current challenges, and what goals you or your child may have for therapy. I will then use what I have learned to collaborate with you and create an individualized therapeutic care plan.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am a professional who seeks measurable and meaningful progress for clients. My own personal and professional experiences, combined with my clinical training have given me the ability to see individuals for who they are and support them in gaining a deeper understanding of themselves and their challenges. As an experienced and certified school School Social Worker for Pre-K to 12, and in my prior work as a therapist in higher education counseling centers, I am uniquely prepared to help individuals better manage the stress of their personal life and academic demands.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have been privileged to work with children, teens, and young adults utilizing different trauma informed therapy modalities to best meet their needs and identified goals. I have training and extensive experience using Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) to help individuals experiencing a variety of conditions. I am also certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral (TF-CBT).

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I completed my DBT Training Coursework while obtaining my Master's Degree at The University of Pennsylvania in 2014. I utilize this modality in adapted forms to support children, teens, and young adults-particularly those who identify as neurodiverse- to help them with making desired changes in behaviors and meet their identified goals.

EMDR

I completed my training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) in 2022 with the Maiberger Institute. I have used this modality with elementary school aged children (neurotypical and neurodiverse) as a School Social Worker to help children who have experienced previous trauma.

I have utilized ERP in my practice to support children with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and/ or phobias gain greater control over intrusive thoughts and associated behaviors.
