Hello! My name is Aryn Pardieck and I am a professional counselor based in Illinois. I have worked as a therapist for over 15 years. My style is warm and friendly. I specialize in working with the LGBTQ+ community, including transgender and nonbinary clients. I always provide gender-affirming care. I further specialize in treating OCD, anxiety disorders, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, and relationship challenges.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

The first session will consist of getting to know more about you and learning about the specific challenges you would like to address in therapy. You will get a chance to learn about my therapy style as well. From here I will work to create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions. My goal is to create a safe space for my clients to feel seen and validated during the first session and beyond.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest passion in life is to hep those who struggle with their mental health and to make a positive impact on the lives of my clients. I feel lucky to be able to do this job, and it brings me great meaning and joy. My passion for this work leads me to be invested in my clients, and my passion is always channeled through kindness and compassion.
