We all need a place where we can feel safe and validated with our emotions/life transitions. It can be difficult to open-up and talk about life-stressors to a stranger. Sometimes, we can feel unheard or alone, or just need someone who can be a helping, compassionate, and nonjudgmental ear. In therapy, we can mend fractured and fragmented pieces of ourselves that have been damaged by past relationships, and trauma. Together, we can bring out positive change in our lives; we can challenge negative cognitions and dissonance. Together, we can begin the path of healing.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Welcome, during our first session we collaborate on an assessment; determining needs, modalities requested, history, and goal planning. We develop a therapeutic alliance by rapport building; building and solidifying trust as to engage within the helping process.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

Talk Therapy Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Motivational Interviewing Person-Centered Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My biggest strengths are helping others find resilience in the parts of themselves they have been conditioned to or convinced are not strengths. I believe that there is strength even in our weaknesses because it takes a level of courage to hold onto any belief system, positive or not-so-positive. If you struggle with decision-making or problem-solving, I will support you through that process!
