I am a licensed Masters of Social work in the Detroit Michigan area that worked initially after receiving a bachelors degree in accounting at a CPA firm and as a comptroller at a large not-for -profit that focused on education, drop-out prevention and job placement. After receiving my Master's degree in Social Work where I worked with delinquent youth, court involved youth, gang members and high school drop- outs. After working for 25 years with this population I worked as a medical social worker with senior citizens, testing for dementia and specializing working with senior citizens newly released from being incarcerated after decades of serving prison sentences.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

My clients will be probed to develop a historical baseline to help develop a theoretical basis that may help to understand the thought process behind the decisions and choices they are making. The goal is to develop a trusting nonjudgemental relationship to gain insight and help with the goals that the client has articulated while assessing their level of resilience.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My ability to identify and clearly articulate the strengths my clients possess and find areas in their lives that they have demonstrated resilience and help them use that strength for their healing growth.
