My name is Robert Lodwick. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina. I earned my Master's of Counseling Psychology from Gardner-Webb University in 2013. I have worked in a group practice for over 7 years and have been licensed since 2016. I work with individuals and couples with challenges to work on being their best version of themselves and achieve the goals they desire to see in their life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During the first session, we will discuss the things you want to achieve in therapy, in a safe, inclusive and warm environment to help you feel empowered to achieve the goals you desire, so you can take the steps you need to make the changes you desire to create.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have a lot of experience in working with individuals who are experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma and sexual addiction, by using Cognitive Behaviors Therapy, existential therapy and EMDR.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to explore a persons thoughts, feelings, behaviors and beliefs about themselves.

Couples Counseling

I use the Gottman method to assist couples needing relationship counseling, understanding what ways their communication issues may be barriers to greater understanding and a better relationship.

EMDR

I use EMDR to help individuals deal and work through trauma they have experienced.

Christian Counseling

For those who are desiring Christian counseling, I incorporate Christian beliefs in their understanding of themselves to help them progress in their individuals goals.

Existential

I use this therapy for those who are trying to make meaning out of their challenges they are currently experience. That there is a purpose in your pain ,and that it is not just meanless suffering or challenges.
