New York has been my hometown until I moved to Florida 6 months ago, where I am officially licensed to practice therapy. I have been a licensed social worker for the last 32 years in New York, Michigan, North Dakota and now Florida. I love treating individuals, ages 8-80, and couples. Most of my clients present with symptoms of anxiety, depression, panic attacks, work/home/partner/relationship problems, binge-eating disorder, and parenting issues.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
A basic inquiry into your background, why are you now seeking therapy (did something different happen?), and what you would like from the therapy.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
I believe my biggest strengths are my ability to assess and treat a person's problems, empathize and feel compassion, and provide the tools necessary to improve a person's growth and well-being.
Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.
I especially enjoy treating ages 18-70, individuals and couples, who are intersted in feeling better and improving the quality of their lives.
