Hi, my name is Martha Garcia-Enright and I am an LMFT providing care in the state of California. I have over a decade of experience working with diverse populations in various settings ranging from outpatient mental health care to crisis residential treatment. I help clients through difficult times and life transitions to empower them to live their lives to the fullest with the tools necessary to overcome future obstacles or barriers. As a mother of two beautiful girls, I also have a strong passion to assist mothers in their journeys. So many transitions are happening to women in the journey of motherhood, and not enough support is offered or available to us in these times. I am focused on helping you through any part of your motherhood journey, and being a safe place for you to explore your current issues. I want to empower you to be the best version of yourself, with the overall goal of gaining hope and confidence to improve your quality of life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together I will focus on getting to know you and your reason for wanting therapy. I will ask some questions to get an understanding of where you have been in your therapy journey and where you would like to go, focusing on how we can work together to best serve you in this moment in time. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process and building a strong rapport will enhance our ability to work towards your goal.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As a therapist my greatest strength is my experience with a variety of different people from various walks of life. I provide a non-judgmental safe space for us to explore how to best serve you in this moment and get you to where you want to be. I focus on empowering you with skills that will serve you through current and future stressors.

My treatment methods

Eclectic

I like to use an eclectic approach to therapy understanding that humans are complex and there is no "one size fits all" technique. I draw from CBT, DBT, ACT and mindfulness methods to help understand the connection between thoughts, feelings and actions.
