Hello! My name is Catherine and I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor based out of Georgia. I graduated from Argosy University, Atlanta and been a mental health therapist for 11 years with a CCPT-II (Certified Clinical Trauma Professional -2). I have extensive in-patient and out-patient experience working with adolescents and adults struggling with PTSD/trauma, depression, anxiety, OCD, bi-polar disorder, LGBTQ and addiction/dependence.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our first session is relaxed yet purposeful. It's all about getting to know each other and building the foundation for a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship. We will talk about the issues that bring you to therapy, identify your challenges, strengths and treatment goals, so we can create an effective individual treatment plan to faciliate the changes you desire.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As an in-patient and out-patient therapist with 12 years experience, I feel my greatest strength is the genuine ability to provide a safe, non-judgemental environment to meet people where they are emotionally and spiritually! As well as, my authentic desire to allow people to feel heard, accepted and appreciated results in a healthy therapeutic collaboration for change.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with people who are seeking ways to change, but are unsure how. My ideal client is open and willing to work as a team and practice their new skills between sessions.
