In your search for a therapist I can offer you the experience I have gathered while working in hospitals, and mental health clinics for the last 17+ years. My private practice has been open since 2015. I'm versed in several therapy theories and I tried to find out the best fit for each person I work with.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

It's my objective to help you reach your treatment goals or identify them if that happens to be the case.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

You can expect to have homework if we are using Cognitive Behavior therapy. With psychoanalysis, we would try to find connections as you freely talk. If we engage in art therapy, then the art would be the way to uncovered potential repressed emotions or conflicts. These therapy models tend to have the by-product of enhancing your self-awareness.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My strength is with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (called CBT). However, I also used psychoanalytic therapy. I had training in art therapy, and my first seven years in this field I used play therapy because I was working with children. I am trauma informed/trained and have a good understanding of nutrition and how it affects the mind. I have knowledge on natural/holistic alternatives to a healthy mind.
