To seek professional counseling takes tremendous courage and fortitude. You have made the right decision to seek professional help. I am available to assist you in overcoming your challenging thoughts, and emotional, and behavioral struggles.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In introductory sessions, clients can expect an introduction to my educational training, certifications, and work history along with my clinical experience Second, clients can expect an interactive (BPS) Biopsychosocial assessment with the intent to learn of precipitating factors to their challenges.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Over the years I've assisted clients to develop and identified roadblocks to their mental health and wellbeing. Secondly, I've assisted clients to develop a treatment plan, along with a measurable objective to ascertain change and progress consistent with recovery.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

When clients are struggling with depressive moods, they tend to make life decisions from emotional abilities rather than from the higher-level cognitive prefrontal cortex of the brain. If left unchecked, the person tends to develop a set pattern of negative ruminations or thought processes, such as: "overgeneralization, Selective abstractions, Self-References, and a Dichotomous thinking pattern". My goal in therapy would be to implement coping skills and strategies to enhance "rational cognitive problem-solving skills by posing challenging open-ended questioning while being emphatic to the client's emotional pain.
