My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT aims to help you deal with overwhelming problems in a more positive way by breaking them down into smaller parts. You're shown how to change these negative patterns to improve the way you feel. Unlike some other talking treatments, CBT deals with your current problems, rather than focusing on issues from your past.

Christian Counseling

One of the Bible verses about counseling is, "Plans fail without advice, but with many counselors, they are confirmed." "Plans fail without advice" means don't suffer alone, seek professional advice and treatment. You are not alone. God loves you unconditionally. It is not easy to see it at times. Let's walk together.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Mindfulness therapy is not concerned with relaxation, though that might be a result of certain practices. The focus is on increasing our awareness of the thoughts, feelings, and actions that hinder our progress. When we are better able to do that, we can engage with those aspects of ourselves, learn to tweak our language, and choose how to respond.

Motivational Interviewing

Motivational interviewing is a counseling method that helps people resolve ambivalent feelings and insecurities to find the internal motivation they need to change their behavior. It is a practical, empathetic, and short-term process that takes into consideration how difficult it is to make life changes.

Narrative

Narrative therapy seeks to help you become aware of the stories you carry with you through life and how these stories can influence the way you view yourself. It can empower you to take back your narrative and see any problems as distinct from you. This process is sometimes known as re-authoring.
