I have extensive experience in working with a diverse population of individuals, including those struggling with substance abuse, dual diagnoses, codependency, trauma, and other mental health issues. I consider myself to be an assertive and direct psychologist who prioritizes effective communication, healthy boundaries, and self-care. My ultimate goal is to help people gain the insight and coping skills necessary to live meaningful lives filled with a positive sense of self and healthy relationships. I consider myself to be a culturally sensitive psychologist who treats each client as a unique individual. I am an action-oriented psychologist that listens with empathy while helping the client gain insight into patterns of thoughts and behaviors that can be used to make healthy and meaningful changes in their lives. If you are an individual who is motivated for positive change and self-growth, then I encourage you to reach out to me, as I would be honored to be a part of your journey. I believe that therapy is a collaborative approach in which the end goal is always in your best interest.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I believe that therapy is a collaborative process. When working with me, clients can expect to have their voice heard. During the first session, clients will share their reasons for seeking therapy while answering questions based on current and historical circumstances in order for me to get a good clinical understanding of the issue(s) that the client is presenting with. Ongoing sessions will entail the client processing and sharing anything that is weighing heavily on their minds in order work their way towards leading a healthy and meaningful lifestyle.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I consider myself to be an integrative psychologist, utilizing several various therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to CBT, DBT, trauma work, addiction related interventions, etc. My choice on what therapeutic interventions to be used depends solely on the uniqueness of each client.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

One of my greatest strengths as a psychologist is my ability to build a rapport and make my clients feel safe, seen, and heard. I create a safe and non-judgmental space that allows clients to be truly vulnerable for the purposes of healing and self-growth.
