I became a therapist because I saw how powerfully transformative having a safe space could be in my life and the lives of my loved ones. It is my firm belief that everyone can benefit from therapy if they are well matched to the person they are working with. Over the course of the past decade, I've honed specialty focus on trauma-informed care, LGBTQ+, kink/sex positivity, human sexuality, women's empowerment, relationships and family sessions, and gaining a strong sense of self and direction in the face of challenging life circumstances. If these areas of treatment resonate with you, I'd love to schedule a time to connect about what you are looking for in a therapist. I completed my undergraduate degree in Communication Studies at UCLA and completed my MSW at University of Southern California. I am licensed in California and Pennsylvania. My clinical focus areas include trauma, relationships, sexuality, gender and the personality disorder spectrum in addition to working extensively with associated comorbidities such as anxiety and depression. I am a believer in whole-person wellness and am able to integrate yogic principles, creative arts and mindfulness into sessions to assist with deeper work. At the present time I am accepting remote access clients via telehealth, a safety precaution due to Covid-19. I look forward to meeting you and am excited to work toward your goals with you!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

First sessions are spent getting to know you, your concerns and how I can best support you on your journey toward your goals. If you are comfortable with our rapport and would like to move forward, we discuss your goals for treatment and what timeline might be required to achieve those goals. First sessions are also a great time to share with me pertinent information you think I should know in our work together, such as family of origin influences, cultural influences, professional or family stressors or any other type of information that could be helpful in building a successful therapy plan.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I believe that real success comes with transparency and authenticity, and as such I thrive to be an authentic self in therapy to create a healthy role model experience for building confidence in your own thoughts, feelings and beliefs about yourself, others and the world around you.

My treatment methods

Attachment-based

My therapeutic style is an accumulation of many different modalities; I match the modality that works best for the symptoms you are seeking to address. My theoretical backdrop is firmly rooted in attachment theory, and the subsequent relationships we develop as a result of our attachment style.
