Jenelle Coolidge is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional level two ( CCTP-II) I specialize in the treatment of eating disorders, trauma, and chronic health conditions. I also like to be an active member to help support awareness and I am part of the National Alliance for Eating Disorders( Orlando Affiliates) and a member of the international association of eating disorder professionals. I also enjoy taking an integrative approach with clients and mixing several techniques such as EMDR, parts work, ACT, DBT, expressive arts, and trauma focused techniques.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the first session we will have brief introductions followed by an intake assessment. After that we discuss follow up sessions and recommended plan.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have a variety of experience in the mental health field, I have compassion for those who are hurting, I am also a recovered clinician from an eating disorder, and I am living with an autoimmune disorder. I want clients to know that I want to give them hope during their hardest moments.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with clients who are ready to do the counseling work. No one is perfect and that is definitely okay! We are in this journey called life together and I can only help you if you communicate your needs to me. I want to make sure the environment feels safe so that you can share what is in your heart. I love to take a unique approach to each client.

I try to incorporate DBT techniques in each session for emotional tolerance and cognitive tolerance.

Trauma-Focused CBT

I used this trauma focused technique while working in community mental health with at high risk youth.
