Hi, I'm Mindi and I have a passion for helping people find their best selves. I have my LCMHC Licensure based in my home state of North Carolina. Here I'm blessed with beaches and environmental beauty, it truly inspires me to live each day to the fullest. I'm interested in helping you do the same! I'm here to listen and get you on a healing journey to a better, stronger, and happier self.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Upon meeting we will discuss your strengths and how those strengths can help you to better the weaknesses you feel you want to improve. Everyone experiences challenges in life and I'm here to listen to those and figure out how I can help. Really at first, I just want to get to know who you are, what brought you to therapy, and where you want to grow as a human being. Together we will make a great team in our journey!

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strength is I am 100% client centered, and don't have a judgmental bone in my body, so you can feel comfortable talking to me and know that I will support you the best way I know how. I also have a background in a plethora researched based practices and skills that if you are open to try them, positive change can happen! I know that in my heart and soul.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I am a firm believer in how we think determines how we feel and our reactions and behavior. I rely heavily on CBT to help clients dispel cognitive distortions that simply are not true! Together we can come up with coping skills that will help you feel better about yourself and become your true best self!

Integrative

Each person is a unique human being, with this in mind, I tailor my counseling scope to meet the needs of each individual, holistically. In my tool belt, I utilize research based techniques from not only CBT, but Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Existential Therapy, Mindfulness Therapy, and may even utilize Yoga from a Somatic, Trauma Informed approach to assist you in finding a purpose in life and ultimately your true best self.
