Hi, this is Mary and welcome to my profile. Are you searching for meaningful relationships and supportive and healthy communications with others in your life? We will work on assertive communication strategies that will allow you to feel more confident when you encounter difficult situations. Tools for establishing healthy connections with others will be shared to help cultivate and attune to the quality relationships you are seeking. You will learn to identify healthy and supportive connections that are emotionally safe and honor and enhance your well-being. You will learn how to better manage symptoms of anxiety and depression and discover that choice is always offered in the context of a supportive and healthy relationship. You will learn relationship principles that allow you to define how you want to show up in relationships as well as create healthy expectations for what you wish to receive from relationships with others. Awareness of how you present to others and your ability to take responsibility for how you may impact others with whom you wish to honor and support will be explored. The value of reciprocity in relationships will be introduced and investigated. The skills you will learn in this process will allow you to be responsible for your own emotions and actions and equipped with the tools to respond respectfully to the words and actions of others regardless of their intent. Together we can identify patterns that may be holding you back from reaching your full potential in important areas of your life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

You can expect to share whatever is creating obstacles or discomfort in your life and expect to learn tools to help respond to life's most pressing concerns with grace and respect. Investigate patterns of behavior that are self-defeating or limiting and gain awareness of how to identify and create a path for reaching your full potential.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My strengths are assisting clients with effective communication strategies that are respectful and empowering which allow the client to take more control of situations and relationships that may be undermining and preventing them from reaching their full potential.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

ACT is beneficial in identifying obsticles that may be preventing individuals from living their best life and can assist individuals in commiting to what will bring them joy, a sense of purpose, and the desire to achieve what is best for them and their relationships with Self and Others.

Brainspotting

Brainspotting can be used for trauma treatment or for exploring ideas and areas of life that may be causing discomfort or confusion and help guide a client toward relationships, choices, and interests that are healthy and fulfilling.

Jungian

My doctorate in psychology was focused on Jungian Psychodynamic Theory. If you are interested in Jungian approaches, I assist the client in their process of individuation, dream analysis, and relationship dynamics including the relationship with Self.

Relational

the focus on relationships is based on the Natural LIfemanship relationship prinicples for connection and attunement. The relationship priniciples of this model will be introduced and practiced so that clients can benefit from relationships that value healthy connection and attunement.
