Hi there, my name is Arielle Penn and I have been a licensed clinician for nearly 30 years, specializing in mental health issues of women. If you are looking for a therapist who is authentic and skilled, I am your person. I am a constant learner and am also certified as a relationship coach and in c-dbt. I use the best evidence based practices to get results. WOMEN FACE MANY ISSUES DAILY AND IF ANY OF THIS RESONATES WITH YOU, I THINK WE WOULD BE A GREAT FIT: Do you feel pulled in a million directions, unable to fit it all in? Are you struggling to keep up with your relationships, work, raising kids and your health? Are you a PERFECTIONIST ? and nothing is as good as it should be? Do you demand to much of yourself and of others? Do you have difficulties relinquishing CONTROL? Are you in a same-sex relationship and struggling with families or others? Do you find yourself struggling with being discriminated in the work arena or are you dissatisfied with your CAREER? Are you unhappily married? Is MENOPAUSE. playing havoc with your body? Have you been cheated on in your relationship and keep choosing unhealthy patterns? TOXIC RELATIONSHIPS Are old patterns and behaviors being replayed from past trauma? Do you find yourself struggling to stay afloat? Are you having difficulty getting your teens off the internet? or difficulty parenting an unruly teen or child? I help high performers manage anxiety and avoid burnout. My clientele is fairly high-functioning women who are struggling to get it all done or feel that they have done everything right ( gone to college, married the ideal husband, live in the right neighborhood, and have risen up the corporate ladder but feel discontentment in their life. Together, we can identify what's not working and get you back to balance. We'll use a whole self approach, addressing the needs of your mind, body and spirit. I start where you are and look at you as a whole person. Whether you're dealing with overwhelm, relationship issues or cycles of anxiety and depression, I'm here to help. Seeking therapy can feel scary but you're making the right choice. You deserve a safe space to heal and grow. In our sessions together, I'll meet you with compassion and evidence-based techniques so you can overcome the hangups and habits holding you back. Let's work together!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

IN our first session, we will begin to get to know one another and please note that this will be a safe , non-judgemental place for you . I believe that it is important to do a thorough psychosocial evaluation and to hear what you would like to accomplish in our time together. I will start where you are as this is your time . I also welcome any questions that you may have for me.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My niche is in women's issues. I am here to help women deal with the bombardment of stressors placed upon women. My biggest strength is that I have nearly 30 years of practice in different arenas and that I am authentic and will be there with you one step at a time. Moreover, I look at the whole person and help you to augment your understanding of what is working for you and what changes you want to make to move toward living your best life. I am a strong advocate of mental health and the destigmatization of populations that are discriminated upon. MAIN ISSUES : self-esteem high-powered women who are perfectionistic Women who can never say no Looking at past patterns and thoughts that continue to play out in your head resulting from past trauma Looking at faulty thinking patterns that keep you stuck Boundary issues women who are doing it all and their self- esteem has taken a hit due to their giving to everyone other than themself unfulfilled in career same-sex relationships and the struggles often faced Menopause Infidelity Infertility Ending of a marriage sandwich generation: taking care of parents and children at the same time Grief and loss of a loved one
