Greetings and thank you for stopping to review my profile. Let me first say that it takes moxie to decide to connect with someone for support. Congratulations on your decision to take this first step into your wellness. I am a Psychotherapist (LISW-S ), Certified as an Aromatherapist, Mindfulness & Meditation Instructor and Integrative Mental Health Professional and I have worked in my field for over 20 years, 15 as a licensed professional. I specialize in working with adults seeking to move forward through grief and loss, depression, anxiety, life transitions, trauma, stress, couples and families, emotional eating & negative food relationship, substance abuse and addiction. My goal is always to partner with you to support you in curating the life you desire and deserve to live. I think that life can be hard sometimes and having someone there to listen, intentionally, to meet you where you are on your journey can be transformative

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session we spend time getting to know one another will talk about your expertise on your life, where you have been, and where you would like to go. I will admit that I have to ask some hard questions sometimes. BUT, we move at your pace to make sure you reach the point of wellness you desire and are capable of reaching.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

My treatment approach experience is an eclectic approach where there is use of Person-Centered Therapy, Integrative Mental Health Techniques, Mindfulness Based Counseling, Radical Acceptance Mindset, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Creative Therapy Techniques. I tend to assign growth work for you to use and practice between sessions to support your building the coping tool box you desire.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Being well is a priority for me personally and I love what I do. While your decision to engage in change is ultimately an individual process, you do not have to walk the journey alone. I believe in this process and I believe that if you are ready to make the next step your bravery will be rewarding. You have made it this far in reading my profile which tells me you are at a point in your life where you are considering doing things differently. I know change can be scary (or even hard) but it is not impossible. I believe you can do this. I am here and ready to partner with you on your journey. If you are ready to capture your wellness, set up a time for us to get started.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

Those who are ready for change and need a clinician who understands that sometimes change can be hard.
