My name is Tracey D. Little. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. I've started my mental health practice in 2015 and continue to predominantly serve moderate to higher functioning individuals who struggle and are challenged with life on life's terms. Individuals are not typically invited or embraced because of their accomplishments in life that need a safe and supportive environment to process and unload their stress and frustrations.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

The first 2 sessions are about developing rapport. In the first session, I will answer any questions you have for me. Review the completed assessments forms and then listen to verbalize why you want to participate in services at this time. In these 2 sessions, I will gather a history which includes things like, education, employment, strengths, medical, relationships, etc.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strength as a provider having respect for the individuals I serve and seeing myself as a servant.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I used a combination of solution-focused, cognitive behavior, spiritually infused therapy. I have over 30 years of experienced working with individuals who have a myriad of concerns. CBT increases a persons ability to make positive change by addressing perceptions, thoughts and behaviors.

Mind-body approach

I used a combination of solution-focused, cognitive behavior, spiritually infused therapy. I have over 30 years of experienced working with individuals who have a myriad of concerns. Spiritually infused is not based on religion but developing a process of working with individuals from a mind, body approach which strengthens the spirit. Each component of the person, mind, body and spirit are connected and must be seemed in order to recognize and respect the person as a whole.

Eclectic

Although, I will always share that my primary approach to working with individuals is Solution-focused, cognitive behavioral, spiritually infused therapy. Many other approaches are blended into sessions to address the uniqueness of the person and of the person's situation. Here are a few approaches that are typically blended, motivational interviewing, stages of change, Erik Erikson's states of psychosocial development and Maslow's Hierarchy of needs.

Trauma-Focused CBT

I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and having been working with individuals who have experience abuse, neglect, domestic violence, addiction and disasters using a trauma lens.
