I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I am interested in helping alleviate trauma symptoms and mental wellbeing issues that decrease our quality of life. I enjoy working with adults of all ages. I use Internal Family Systems, Safe and Sound Protocol (Polyvagal theory), and trauma informed care. I have experience in emergency psychiatric assessments and speaking to a variety of people.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I follow a trauma-informed perspective. I want to build rapport, it is most important that we build a trusting relationship so we can move towards healing. I want to learn as much about you as you are comfortable sharing, so we can wait before we dive into more difficult topics. Tell me what is bringing you to therapy, what have you liked and not liked about therapy in the past, and what you want to focus on. I will speak to you about IFS, how it helps, and how we get started.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Trust building, strength-base approach, increasing tools for clients to use during difficult challenges the may occur outside the therapeutic environment. From personal experience, I strongly believe behavioral health therapy can give us the support we need to live a better life for us and the people we care about.

My treatment methods

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

I find 'parts work' to be gentle and effective for a variety of mental health issues.

Polyvagal Therapy

When we notice what is happening to our nervous system, it can help us regulate more effectively.
