Life can be difficult, and sometimes we can get overwhelmed or lose our way. As a therapist, I can be a healthy support system to help you achieve emotion regulation by learning ways to control your emotional state and needs in various situations. I provide comfort in processing unresolved grief through psychoeducation about the 6 stages of grief (Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression, Acceptance, Meaning). I lend support to you through your past and current traumatic events. I also focus on family and couple conflicts by addressing specific issues and improving communication and conflict resolution. If you find yourself relating to any of these this can be the time to seek additional support. I can help children ages 4 and up individual adults, couples, and families. I offer a safe space of support, empathy, and encouragement as we work together through your healing journey to become your best possible self.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the first session with me, clients can expect a warm and welcoming environment where they can feel safe to express themselves openly and honestly. We will begin building a collaborative relationship and lay the groundwork for our work together. My goal is to create a supportive and empowering space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to make positive changes in your life.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have a deep sense of empathy and compassion for others, which allows me to connect with clients on a genuine level and create a safe and supportive therapeutic environment. I strive to understand my clients' experiences, validate their feelings, and provide empathy without judgment. My goal is to support clients in navigating life's challenges, fostering personal growth, and ultimately achieving greater well-being and fulfillment.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I am best positioned to serve individuals across various age groups who are experiencing anxiety, life transitions, and depression. My expertise lies in providing support and guidance to young adults, children, and adults navigating these challenges. I have a deep understanding of the unique needs and experiences of each age group and am skilled at tailoring your approach to meet their specific needs. My compassionate and empathetic nature allows me to establish rapport with clients of all ages, creating a safe and supportive environment for them to explore their feelings and work toward healing and growth.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Through CBT, I work collaboratively with clients to identify and challenge negative thought patterns and beliefs that contribute to their emotional distress or problematic behaviors. By teaching clients to recognize and reframe these thoughts, as well as develop healthier coping strategies, CBT empowers individuals to effectively manage their symptoms and improve their overall well-being. This approach is evidence-based and highly effective for a wide range of mental health concerns, making it an essential tool in my therapeutic toolkit.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Through experiential exercises and mindfulness techniques, I guide clients in clarifying their values and taking meaningful steps towards their goals, even in the presence of discomfort or uncertainty. ACT fosters resilience and empowers clients to live more fulfilling lives by embracing change and building psychological resilience.

Play Therapy

I utilize play therapy as a powerful tool for working with children to address emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. Through the language of play, children are able to express themselves, explore their feelings, and work through issues in a safe and supportive environment. I facilitate this process by providing a range of toys, games, and creative materials, allowing children to engage in play-based activities that help them communicate, problem-solve, and develop coping skills. Play therapy enables children to process their experiences and build resilience while fostering growth and healing.

Attachment-based

I help clients recognize how early experiences with caregivers influence their current interpersonal dynamics and emotional regulation. Through compassionate exploration and interventions aimed at enhancing secure attachment, I support clients in developing healthier relationship patterns, fostering greater intimacy, and improving overall well-being. Attachment-based therapy provides a powerful framework for healing relational wounds and promoting emotional growth and resilience.
