I'm a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), EMDR Trained Therapist, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), and Board Certified-Telemental Health Provider (BC-TMH) driven by a passion for helping individuals overcome adversity. I earned my Master of Social Work from Temple University in 2020 and have dedicated myself to accompanying clients in their quests to recover from life’s plot twists and turbulence. I'm pleased to offer online (video) therapy sessions to Pennsylvania and Delaware residents. What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first session, we'll begin to gather and assemble the building blocks of our collaboration. We'll establish a sturdy therapeutic rapport and continue to assess for whether or not we're a fit to work together. We'll also start to explore your presenting issues, symptoms, strengths, and therapeutic needs. Overall, we'll both get a glimpse of what you're seeking support with before we identify your goals or what you hope to gain from our sessions.

My mission is to help clients untangle themselves from the complex webs of life that have spun around them, leaving them feeling helpless and stuck. EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a form of psychotherapy that promotes profound healing and allows clients to experience transformation while we tackle the most distressing parts of their past, present, and future. I offer EMDR to clients grappling with the effects of various types of trauma, as well as anxiety, grief and loss, life transition issues, and even imposter syndrome. I also combine EMDR Therapy with other trauma-focused interventions, such as EMDR 2.0 and the Flash Technique.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

Anyone who is someone—everyone—can benefit from from a person-centered approach to therapy. Person-centered therapy is the heart and soul of my work with clients, and it involves leading with empathy, holding space, offering acceptance, and meeting each client where they are during our work together. It is also the key to cultivating and nourishing strong therapeutic bonds, which helps each client grow as they pursue their therapeutic goals.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Searching for solutions to problems often feels like trying to find needles in a haystack, and dealing with life's challenges tends to make us believe that the needles (solutions) don't exist. I enjoy applying solution-focused techniques during sessions to instill hope and guide clients to relief by helping them tap into their strengths and explore all of the possible exceptions to their issues.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Mindfulness makes a big difference for those of us who tend to space out or can't seem to contain our racing thoughts—myself included. By engaging in various mindfulness exercises, I help clients slow down and reconnect to the present by noticing their thoughts, emotions, bodily sensations, and aspects of the space around them. Reconnecting to the present without judgement evokes relief and also prepares clients for trauma work.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Our thoughts can hold the power to completely dictate us. I also understand that our thoughts and beliefs (about ourselves and others) tend to be the pesky byproducts of distressing life experiences. Instead of urging clients to alter their thinking, I enjoy helping them learn how to gradually challenge, reframe, and change their relationships with their thoughts—without feeling ashamed about ever experiencing them in the first place.
