In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions. We will also go over some of your history.

Having worked with young adults for the past 10 years, I've developed a tried-and-true playbook for helping you (a) identify the root cause of your challenges and (b) create a tailored plan that leads to measurable progress. I've been told that I am easy to talk to and keep a relaxed and open space to share.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is the most common treatment method that I use and have been using it for the past 10 years. CBT helps you to challenge reoccurring "nagging" thoughts and manage your anxieties better. Using CBT will help us build a shared understanding of your reality and allow us to work together to make progress in your wellbeing. We’ll use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We’ll then use that knowledge to change your thinking patterns, which will help you lead a less anxious and stressed life.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I have been trained and certified in DBT and have been using it for the past 6 years. DBT can be very helpful for you if you tend to experience emotions very intensely. We work together to understand and implement DBT Skills to use in your everyday life.
