I have over a decade of experience providing solution focused therapy as well as crisis management and serving people with post traumatic stress disorder. I use cognitive behavioral therapy as well as person centered therapy to help guide people to their goals and their true authentic self. My greatest passion is helping people accept themselves and find their true authentic self. I am kink aware, polyamory friendly, and LGBTQIA affirming.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

The first session is mostly just a get to know each other session. I get to know you and you get to know me and see if we can work well together on your goals in therapy. I generally have a lot of questions to help guide some clients but at the same time I am able to just listen if you have a direction that you are wanting to explain. The client is also free to ask me questions as well.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strengths as a therapist is that I am genuine and passionate about people. I have had many alternative lifestyle clients that are trying to find understanding and acceptance in who they are as well as I truly love reading and learning more about people and how to help aid them as a therapist in many different situations.

My treatment methods

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I have utilized this treatment method for more than 12yrs. Using this modality, the client is able to communicate with me their goals and the things in which they are wanting to improve and we work together as a team to try and find a plan to help reach their goals for personal improvement.

Eclectic

I have different experiences in multiple types of modalities for therapy treatment. I have worked in trauma informed care and trauma focused CBT as well as compassion and strength therapy. I enjoy person centered therapy as a whole and what the client's needs are during a certain time and finding a method together that works best for each client and what they are currently tackling.
