As a child and family therapist, I focus on supporting children, teenagers, and parents in enhancing their relationships and overall happiness. My main objective is establishing a secure and encouraging environment where my clients can address difficulties and develop deeper bonds. Through therapy, I strive to assist families in communicating more effectively, gaining a better understanding of one another, and nurturing positive relationships for long-lasting growth and well-being. Child and family therapy can be tailored to address either individual or family goals, depending on the specific needs and dynamics of the clients involved.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In an initial session, I focus on building rapport and gaining a comprehensive understanding of my clients. This includes gathering bio-psycho-social history to delve into their concerns, behavioral patterns, and personal background. I aim to create a strong foundation for our therapeutic journey together.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I strive to create a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere where clients feel understood and supported. By incorporating humor into our sessions, I aim to lighten the mood and build a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust and genuine connection. This blend of professionalism, empathy, and humor allows clients to feel at ease while addressing their concerns and working towards positive change.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I am best positioned to serve children with ADHD, anxiety, depression, and young children with disruptive behaviors and noncompliance to caregivers. My expertise in child therapy allows me to support these children and their families in overcoming challenges and fostering positive changes in their lives.
