I have experience helping clients navigate work, relationship, and family conflicts, as well as reducing anxiety and depression, and healing from trauma and abuse. I started my career at the Utah Pride Center supporting members of the LGTBQ+ community in individual therapy and through the Survivors of Suicide Attempts support group. I live in Metro Atlanta and am licensed in Georgia, Colorado, and Utah.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our sessions will focus on exploring the areas of your life you want to change, empowering you to take action when the timing is right. Most clients find relief within the first few sessions, with resolution of their primary reason for starting therapy in 6-12 sessions. At that point, therapy ends or we shift the aim of therapy to another area of growth.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Every person heals differently, and I use a variety of techniques from evidenced-based treatments including EMDR for trauma, Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS), Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Emotion-Focused Couples therapy. I work with clients who may be experiencing relationship difficulties along with depression and trauma. The goal is not to be in therapy forever. Through meaningful work in and between sessions, most of my clients feel better quickly. I ask for feedback to ensure I am meeting my clients' needs as a therapist. If I am not the right therapist for someone, I support my client to find a new provider.
