Hi! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), a Board Certified Professional Counselor (BCPC) in New York and a national Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC). I received my Masters Degree from New York University (NYU) and have been practicing for over 15 years. I help individuals and families who are faced with issues related to relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, stress, PTSD, trauma, and disabilities-related mental health challenges.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, my clients can expect to learn that their mental health is an essential part of their overall well-being. They will get clear instructions on how we will work together to devise a tailored therapy plan with smart measurable goals that will help them learn how to cope and manage their life challenges much better.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As a provider with over 15 years of experience as a therapist, I believe that my strength as a therapist rests in the knowledge, skills, and expertise I gained that has allowed me to be in a great position to provide my clients with quality mental health services. With my guidance, my clients have been able to set meaningful therapy goals, cope with their challenges better, and make great progress in their mental health goals.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

My experience utilizing Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) in my practice involves tailoring strategies and techniques to the individual needs and goals of my clients. This includes helping my clients identify negative thought patterns, challenge irrational thoughts, develop coping skills, improve communication skills, and develop a plan to cognitively restructure negative thoughts and behaviours by implementing positive alternatives. My goal in the therapeutic process is to help empower my clients to develop more adaptive ways of thinking and behaving in their relationship with self and others and to help them find effective ways to be more resilient in addressing their mental health challenges.
