Life's challenges can get the best of anyone, and rob you of your happiness. I am ready to help you reclaim your joy. I can assist people who are feeling depressed, anxious, overwhelmed or lonely to find their way back to their best life. I like to provide a warm and friendly environment and feel that there can even be room in therapy for gentle humor. I value each person's story and want you to know I am dedicated to providing an open-minded, safe and compassionate therapeutic relationship with my clients to enable you to share your thoughts and feelings, and to create a comfortable, open and safe environment in which you can move forward towards a happier, more fulfilling life. I know it isn't easy reaching out to ask for help, and I applaud your courage. Let's take the next steps on the road to your best life together. I am a Clinical Social Worker, licensed in Florida with over 27 years of professional experience. I have worked in a wide variety of settings, helping clients cope with depression, anxiety, grief and loss, and to find ways to improve enthusiasm and motivation, self-esteem, and confidence, as well as helping find the path up and out of depression. I also have experience working with coping with the challenges that can come with life changes.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our first session will be an opportunity to get acquainted, and for you to share with me your concerns and issues so we can establish goals that emphasize the areas of your life you want to address. After all, you are the driver and I am your assistant in navigating your path forward.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

My therapeutic style generally consists of providing a comfortable space to express your concerns, difficulties, and helping you identify your strengths and vulnerabilities, self-limiting thinking and behaviors, and guiding you towards a more positive and productive relationship with others and the world. I often assign "homework", so you can be empowered to practice what you have learned and continue to grow outside of our sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

If you want to work with a kind and gentle person who will still push you to work towards your goals and to assist you to achieve your best life, I would be happy to help. I am spiritual, but don't adhere to any strict religious tradition, and will have respect for your beliefs and philosophy.
