Welcome! I'm so glad you're here. Here's a little bit about me, and then the rest of this journey is all about YOU... I graduated in 2008 and have worked in a middle and high school setting for the past 15 years. I have extensive experience with anxiety, depression and mood disorders. I also have experience working with teenagers who experience various school stressors, physical stressors and relationship issues. I understand that taking the first step toward seeking counseling can be scary, but I applaud you for your courage! Together, we will embark on a transformative journey, working collaboratively to unlock your potential and create positive changes in your life. I am excited to work with clients in a virtual setting. Even though we won't be in the same room, you are my focus! I utilize a whole self approach and help to address needs in not just your emotional self, but also your physical. The virtual space that I keep is meant to help you heal and grow. I look forward to working with you!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions and then dive into specific challenges you're experiencing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow up sessions. Also, if the client is under the age of 13, please be aware that it may take several sessions to complete a plan and make a recommendation as remote counseling is not always the best option for young clients.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My strengths include: punctuality, empathy and compassion, strong communication skills, culturally competent, non-judgemental approach, ethically based.
