Greetings, creating better, evoking life, helping those who hurt. I'm glad you are here, it's not easy to reach out for help. I am glad you are here and i am happy to help you. This takes courage to reach out, sometimes we have fear and worries that hold us back in life. I help people who hurt, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, insomnia, sleep issues, self esteem issues, rare and chronic illnesses such as; Chronic Lyme, babesiosis, bartonella, Ehlers Danlos, POTS, Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, Autoimmune Encephalitis, and other autoimmune disorders. I am a MULTISTATE Licensed Professional Counselor (TX, CT, DE) in which if you travel I have licensure in other states resulting in a benefit for you. I have a Nationally Certified Counselor, Registered Play Therapist, Published Author of children and adult mental health books, The host of the Play Therapy Network (TM) and an advocate for rare diseases and mental health.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Understanding caring environment, learning how to social and emotional regulate emotions. Discussion of relevant history and presenting concerns. Acknowledgment and validation of the courage to come to therapy, it is not easy and sometimes one of the most difficult things a person does. We will explore feelings and emotions and process what is causing struggles, as well as unresolved issues while learning tools to move forward and thrive.

I have extensive experience with all ages and all populations. I have lived on the West Coast, the Midwest, the South, and the East Coast. I am understanding, caring, empathic and direct to the point of what is needed to help you heal. I utilize an Attachment based approach with CBT/Adlerian integrated.

I enjoy helping people, my specialty areas are Anxiety, OCD, PTSD, Self Esteem, Insomnia, Autoimmune and rare diseases. I enjoy working with anxiety and OCD, in which I have resources and emotional tools, tips and tricks on social and emotional regulation. Including how to get out of a panic attack. I have an Attachment based approach with CBT/Adlerian therapy integrated. You are not alone, let me help you move forward. I enjoy working with chronic illness, homebound by Chronic Lyme Disease, Cranial Cervical Instability, Ehlers Danlos, along with many other rare disorders. I can help you navigate mental wellness and how mental health coping skills are modified due to rare diseases and the underlying issues with rare illness. I have extensive experience with TRAUMA and PTSD, and enjoy helping people work through the trauma no matter if it is child abuse, domestic violence, murder, family suicide, or natural disaster. Attachment-based

Attachment is utilized to learn, grow, evoke change in life and understand, meaning, purpose, value of self; while recognizing the ability to attach or detach to people places or things.

Play Therapy

Children learn, grow, and thrive through exploration, seeing, touching, hearing and imagination of play. As a Registered Play Therapists I help children, process trauma, hurt, anxiety, sleep issues through virtual play therapy.
