Hello, There! My name is Aria, and I am a Licensed Independent Clinincal Social Worker in Massachusetts. In addition to private practice, I run a homehealth agency assisting members with physical and behavioral challenges to remain housed in the community with personal care support. I manage a large team in a fast-paced environment and am looking forward to slowing down and processing information with clients to serve their needs.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first visit, clients will explain why they are seeking treatment, what they hope to gain by meeting with a therapist, how long treatment is expected to last, and any relevant history that is impacting the concern.

As a provider, I have over a decade of listening to others' concerns and assisting in finding solutions. I am a great listener, and believe everyone has the answers within, but may need a little guidance on getting to the desired result.

Adults struggling with mental health concerns and daily struggles match my experience well. Older adults and end-of-life counseling is also a passion of mine to make their final transition one of peace and comfort.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

We will use CBT to discuss your thoughts, and the ways in which your thoughts impact you feelings and behaviors. Once thought patterns are established, then we can work on ways in which to combat negative emotions and behaviors.

Motivational Interviewing

Together, we will employ Motivational Interviewing to get to the root of the concern. In this question and response model, you will uncover the best ways to get through your challenges.

Strength-Based

With an MSW in the Strengths-Based approach, we will explore all the positives occurring in your life, while lessening the overwhelmedness of the negatives.
