Hello, I am so happy you are here! My name is Ana, and I am a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California who specializes in providing therapy for Women and teens who struggle with anxiety, depression and self-defeating thoughts. I provide a safe and non-judgmental environment in which I will work to help empower you to successfully navigate any concerns related to, anxiety, self-esteem, grief, perfectionism, and self-limiting beliefs. Together, we will work to help you (re)connect with yourself, so you can find greater balance, clarity, and confidence in taking on your challenges.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we will complete a formalized intake and create a treatment plan that supports your goals and therapeutic growth.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I enjoy working with my clients in a collaborative, non-judgmental, and compassionate manner that aids in building a strong and trusting relationship.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I enjoy using CBT to help bring awareness of how our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence one another. CBT helps to identify inaccurate or negative thinking so you can view challenging situations more clearly and respond to them in a more effective way.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT has helped my clients by acknowledging the need for change in a context of acceptance of situations while recognizing and managing our many conflicting emotions.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

I practice from a systems approach, which means that I view clients’ actions, thoughts, and feelings as a result of the systems within which they live. Seeing ourselves within a system can bring greater understanding and compassion for ourselves and others.
