Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based out of Connecticut. I received my Masters of Social Work from the University of Saint Joseph. I have over a decade of experience utilizing a trauma-informed approach and other various evidence-based therapeutic modalities to help guide my clients along their healing journeys. Being born and raised in Hartford, CT, it was common to witness the challenges and barriers of living in a struggling inner-city both inside the home and outside in the community. My goal has always been to work in a capacity that helps others rise above and past their obstacles to achieve their desired life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our initial session, after brief introductions, much of the focus will be on exploring the concerns that are bringing you to seek therapeutic services, and gathering background information on past and current experiences impacting your well-being. Additionally, together we will identify some of your current coping skills and therapeutic goals you hope to achieve through our work together. Our first session will allow us also to review and clarify practice policies and any preferences in treatment approaches.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I believe my strengths lie in my natural relational skills, strength-based perspective, and creative approach to therapy. My compassionate and empathetic nature allows clients to find their voices and honor their unique differences as they journey toward healing and growth. I combine these qualities to create a therapeutic experience that feels authentic, uplifting, and transformative.
