I am passionate about helping both individuals and couples navigate current struggles such as depression, anxiety, and life changes. I look to provide you with healing and growth. I am experienced in working with women's issues, LGBTQ+ individuals, depression, anxiety, grief, and relationship challenges (communication, infidelity, intimacy, and connection). I base my treatment and recommendations on each client's unique situation, history, and presenting needs or goals.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During the first session I look to get to know you -- not only why you come to therapy and what you are going through now, but also who you are and what led you here. A safe and comforting relationship is my main priority, and I want to give you the chance to get to know me as well.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I believe that therapy is a partnership between the client and their therapist, and I am here to make sure you feel supported and affirmed every step of the way. By working together with open communication, I will create an environment where you can safely tackle problems in your life, begin to heal, and develop goals for the future without the fear of judgment.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I am best positioned to serve adolescent, young adult, and adult women suffering from anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relational issues.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy primarily with clients with anxiety and depression. CBT is an evidence-based modality that teaches clients to examine and reframe their negative thoughts. I have found great success with clients using this treatment method.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

Person-centered therapy is the approach that underlines all the work I do. The core tenets of this are empathy, congruence, and unconditional regard. I believe these are all required to develop a safe and validating relationship between therapist and client.

Couples Counseling

I primarily use Emotion-Focused therapy and attachment therapy with couples, working on communication, infidelity, intimacy, and connection.
