I have over 15 years experience in the mental health field working with clients who are struggling with addictions, relationship problems, self esteem issues, anxiety, depression, as well as stressors related to life transitions. As a therapist I am committed to working with a diverse population and have experience in various settings. I provide psychotherapy by utilizing an integrative and holistic approach with clients in their healing process. I draw from a variety of methods as I assist people in being able to identify their issues and reach their treatment goals.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, I will do a brief psycho/social assessment to help me understand your history. I will utilize Motivational Interviewing to get to know you and assess your values, beliefs, and goals for therapy.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As a therapist , I am committed to working with both brief and long term therapy to overcome life stressors that can affect all of us at certain times in our lives.

My treatment methods

Mind-body approach

I’ve been using mind, body approaches in my therapy for the past 10 years. It has helped many clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, self esteem as well as relationship issues. The mind body approach is a holistic approach that incorporates cognitive behavioral therapy, imagery, yoga, prayer and meditation. I use the mind, body approach to help you understand how feelings, thoughts and behaviors impact and influence each other. We will incorporate holistic knowledge to help change your thinking and behavior patterns that will help you lead a less anxious and stressed life and, in turn, helping to improving your relationship with others and most importantly your relationship with self.
