Sometimes, life gets a bit overwhelming and we lose sight of our path. Occasionally, our path becomes clouded with anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, eating disorders, trauma, etc. While walking our path through life, therapy can provide a nonjudgmental space to vent, problem-solve, and seek coping tools. I would like to be that person for you. We will work together to set attainable goals and learn coping skills to help us on our journey through life. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor utilizing a combination of Cognitive Behavior Therapy and person-centered practices, among others. I assist a wide range of ages, from adults to teens. The main emphasis is finding solutions to better regulate their emotions, language, belief systems, and perceptions of life challenges.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the first session, we will review paperwork, intake information, and create treatment goals together to help you achieve your goals coming into therapy. Obviously with each client this formate can change. If a client comes in nervous about therapy we can focus on those concerns and do calming techniques together. If a client comes in ready to let it all out we can start there too. My main goal is to meet my client where they are during the first session.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strength as a provider is the ability to connect and actively listen to the client and meet them where they are. I enjoy explaining why coping strategies work both physically and mentally.
