Hello. I'm Kayla and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor located in Florida. I have a Master's degree in Counseling and Psychology. I come to you with over 9 years experience as a Counselor. I have worked in multiple outpatient and inpatient mental health settings with at risk families and youth. After beginning my own healing journey related to interpersonal relationships, I became dedicated to assist women who feel overwhelmed, stuck, and angry begin healing from their relational wounds, so they can navigate their relationships with confidence and ease.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we will start with introductions and explore your strengths and challenges. We will then explore a quick snapshot to see what happened to you. Afterwards, I will create a treatment plan that we will use as our roadmap to decrease your symptoms.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

After working with survivors of relational trauma for quite sometime. I have developed an approach that focuses on the mind, body, and soul. This approach works over and over in assisting my clients with gaining quantifiable progress.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I work best with women who have a pattern of unstable relationships, domestic violence or a sexual assault, as an adulthood or during their childhood. My clients struggle with self doubts and guilt, low self-esteem and hopelessness. They want nothing more than to stop thinking of their past and learn to trust themselves and others however they lack the skills.
