Hi there! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Florida. I received my masters degree from Louisiana State University. I've been in the mental health field for 6 years. I help individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, attachment issues and trauma heal, learn effective coping skills, and become the best version of themselves.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll complete our initial introductions. We'll spend a few minutes reviewing privacy and practice policies. The first session is largely us building rapport and identifying themes for treatment that will assist in building a treatment plan during future sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have a diverse clientele and I've worked with a variety of different populations ( substance use, mental health, child-welfare, trauma). The one common denominator with every client that I've treated is therapeutic rapport. Fostering and maintaining a solid therapeutic relationship is foremost. Listening and hearing my clients needs, collaborating with the client on treatment and providing interventions tailored to their specific needs comes naturally once the relationship is solidified.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) interventions to assist patients in identifying and addressing automatic negative thought patterns, maladaptive behaviors and thoughts that contribute to anxiety, depression, low self-esteem and other interpersonal issues.

EMDR

I use Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) to target trauma by reprocessing maladaptive memories to adaptive memory networks. I have used this method of treatment with clients who have experienced major life traumas and those who have experienced trauma through relationship, abandonment and attachment issues.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

The core of all of my treatment methods are person-centered. I believe strongly in meeting clients where they are in their healing journey, maintaining respect and confidentiality, building strong therapeutic rapport and listening to the needs of my clients.
